How sad is it that I like reading good grammar and punctuation books. This one has wit, too.

Started reading Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk for the third time (this time for a book discussion - good thing I love this book) and listening to Becoming Dr. Seuss Theodor Geisel and the Making of an American Imagination by Brian Jay Jones Becoming Dr. Seuss: Theodor Geisel and the Making of an American Imagination. I really liked Jones's book Jim Henson The Biography by Brian Jay Jones so I decided to give his most recent biography a read.

Julie M (woolyjooly) | 314 comments Just finished Virgil Wander, by fellow Minnesotan, Leif Enger. So, so good! But not quite up to the quality of his first novel, Peace Like A River, I think. Writing style might be a bit Lake Wobegon/ish for some but I thoroughly enjoyed this crazy story!

I am almost finished So Brave, Young and Handsome and feel the same way. A bit too Mark Twainish....I so loved Peace Like a River
