Shyanne (foxtarts) | 17 comments Ever since watching the amazing movie, In the Mouth of Madness by John Carpenter. I've wanted so badly to read Sutter Cane's books. Obviously it's a fictious author and the books don't exist, but these are the kind of books I love! Body horror and cosmic horror, monsters and dark secrets. I think Cane (the character) was supposed to inspired by Stephen King and Lovecraft. Now I've read Lovecraft's stuff, and I love it, but I wish it was written in a more modern dialect. I have a hard time reading it. And Stephen King's stuff never scared me. I am not easily frightened. Is there any authors/books similar to Sutter Cane's? http://www.theofficialjohncarpenter.c...
