What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Fantasy Book - No Age Genre
Book starts with a woman who either works or is a slave in a coal mine (or similar). It always seems to be snowing.
She somehow goes on a journey and finds out she has some sort of heat/fire magic.
Last read the book in around 2012.

First thing that came to my mind is "Throne of Glass," by Sarah J. Maas. I know she is rescued from some kind of mine, and she does have fire magic. I don't remember about the snowing.

Definitely not Throne of Glass - cause I have read that recently.
I'm not sure about Winter of Fire.

I think this is it, and i'm going to go with that, I just did not remember much of any of the other characters.
