Yes, I managed to get it all fixed! A weird glitch but I can get back to my reading again!

Progress Update: 4/7
Got about a 100 pages of Dandelion Wine to go. I just want to savor this one! The writing is so descriptive and has that lazy summer feel to it.

Both were really good, I liked 3men in that it's still relatable. It's like how the internet scares you into thinking you are more severely ill than you truly are! Which is no way to live but also very funny!
I liked the friendship between the men, like brothers, their stories and the many, many wild incidents. The cheese, packing... Uncle Podger.... Not a book to read at night though, your cackling and giggles will definitely wake someone! The shift in tone, closer to the end was unexpected though.
Progress Update: 2/7 Still reading Dandelion Wine and a few others.
Book 7 (13/06/19 - 14/06/19): The Alchemist-(Download Free Book)

I liked the blind men and all their kindnesses, they couldn't help what they did not know and could not see. But where was his-Bagota's- empathy and humility?
Progress: 3/7

Shannara, i just read your spoiler above. It's true, the book seems quite powerful and like it is teaching something. Maybe the lesson is the necessity of empathy? Or maybe we're just "seeing" too much into it! ;)

Right!?! Yeah, empathy sounds like a good moral to the story! I like how it's up to the reader to decide.
I hope you like the Alchemist. I read it a couple years ago and thought it was so good!!

Yeah, I guess the whole story is open to interpretation: the blind men never had it easy, Bagota (forgotten his real name) never had to work for much of anything. They heard him stumbling and wanted to help, he had too much pride and was too lazy to work with them. He wanted to be king, and nothing else.
It's his pride that made him a fool, (view spoiler)

Was confused by the religious talk: seemed Islamic at times, but was it wholly Christian? 5 Star read, the ending was quite funny as well as unexpected.
Progress: 4/7
