*MC’s first or last name starts with the letter Q
*Features a character identifying as queer/questioning their sexuality
+ Categories
(two mystery tasks - you will find out what they are at the end of the challenge & get BONUS points if your team has completed any of them).
**That being said for Part 1, you ONLY have to complete LGBTQ before moving onto Part 2. The + Categories, even though it has two mystery tasks, can be completed repeatedly throughout the challenge. If you have a book that doesn't fit any of the categories, you are more than welcome to take a lucky try and guess for the + tasks.

I'm in, but I have no idea how many books I'll read in June. I know I am going to be busy but I'll still have audios....so maybe 15? Definitely less than usual.

I'm in for at least 4 but will do my best to make it more! I just started a part time job to go with my full time one and, of course, mom life so my "me" time is slowly dwindeling!

Pride Challenge
LGBTQ Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City. This uprising marked the beginning of a movement to outlaw discriminatory laws and practices against LGBTQ+ citizens. Today, LGBTQ+ Pride Month celebrations include pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, concerts, and now a reading challenge!
This Pride Challenge will be split into 3 parts. When beginning this challenge, you will start with part one. Once you are finished with that, you will move onto part two and so on until you are have complete each category once. After finishing each category once, you will have free reign to read for whatever category you want. That is, if you have finished all of the known categories before the end of the month.
Speaking of known categories, yes we have a twist coming your way. One category, which will be in part one, will remain a mystery until the end of the challenge. This category will have 2 tasks. Yes, you read that correctly. From June 1st all the way to June 30th, this category will be locked and will be revealed on July 1st. On this day, if your team has read a book that fits these two mysterious tasks you will get some bonus points.
Ah, yes, bonus points. Just like most of our challenges, we love to give bonus points. If a team completes all of the known categories they will receive 100 bonus points. Then once the mystery tasks are announced and your team has read a book that fits those, you will get 5 pts for each book that fits them.
For this challenge, it will be team only. Instead of saying you will be reading for serious, medium, or just for fun - you will let us know how many books you plan to read for the month of June. For example:

100 - 149 pages → 1 pt
150 - 249 pages → 2 pts
250 - 349 pages → 3 pts
350 - 449 pages → 4 pts
450 - 549 pages → 5 pts
550+ pages → 6 pts

BOTM will TRIPLE your points.
