What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Good evening all. There are a number of Betty Neels books and while looking at the titles and descriptions I’m still unsure which book it is. Maybe you all can help.

It is one of her Doctor/Nurse romances. It involves the heroine assisting in casualty I think, helping to treat victims caught in a riot. That’s what I remember of the book.

Can anyone help me with the title? It’s driving me kind of crazy!!!

Hmm. There's a riot in A Small Slice of Summer. Although she doesn't help there is a riot in A Valentine for Daisy. I think I'm missing one or two.

Maybe you will recognize the title from this list with the covers included.

I remember a little bit about some of the characters involved in the riot. One is a boy whose father told him not to leave the house but did and gets a minor injury.

There is also an older (lady I think) who is suffering a knife would but doesn’t realize it. However the heroine (nurse) does and gets her help.

Those are the only other details I remember.

SOLVED: Thank you to those of you who made suggestions. Checked my copy of A Small Slice of Summer. That wasn’t it. In the wee hours of the morning I remember what it was. That scene is from Philomena’s Miracle.
