Is imgur free and unlimited? I don't often upload images, but have always used imgur whenI do.

If I have an image in a folder on my computer I want to use elsewhere, I go into my Imgur account.
Select images, then add images, then browse. find the right folder. On your folder find the image. Select the image, then press open (this is on your computer file) This loads the photo on to Imgur. Get that far & you will see a pencil & a rubbish bin image on your new picture. If you click on the pencil you can edit the image so you are happy with the size. Save if you are happy with your changes.
When you come to use on Goodreads, click on the picture. You will get a list of different codes. For Goodreads you want HTML. Select the blue copy button next to that.

I should have mentioned these are the instructions for a PC. There are other options but this is the way it works for me with Imgur. It was similar with Photobucket, but not exactly the same.

I'm feeling oddly lazy today!
Just mentioning that I used to use Photobucket as my image hosting site. I didn't move all the photos when I changed to Imgur. I thought I had got my photos below Photobucket's latest limit for free usage, but I had another warning email from them yesterday, & the problem now isn't the amount of photos I had stored - its the bandwidth used when I display them here or on other websites.
I am still trying to rehost on Imgur, but I may miss some. I look at the photos & it is surprisingly difficult to remember which Heyer I used them for. :)
So if the images look blurry on some of my old posts, that is the reason. :)
