I just started this morning. Over the weekend I was able to go to Jeaniene Frost's book signing at Malaprop's. She did explain a few things without giving away any spoilers. As of right now, she plans for this series to be a triology. I don't know if it was a psychosomatic reaction to Ms. Frost saying that she loathes writing beginnings,however it took me a few chapters before I started getting into the story. I'm about 25% done and want Adrian and Ivy to hurry up and get to the demon realm to rescue Jasmine (Ivy's sister).

Just finished, and I rated it 2 stars.


The premise had so much promise, but in the end, the story fell flat for me. Also, the romance wasn’t convincing due to the insta-love. Overall, a disappointing read. :(
