Ch 8 (25%) - (view spoiler)[ An okay start. There were some awkward writing spots when she first got to the school and when the guys are giving her info but keeping secrets at the same time. It could be smoother. I like the guys so far, I just hope they get fleshed out a little more. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 23 (77%) - (view spoiler)[ Oh good, she'll have a least one friendly girl friend in the place. I still can't quite wrap my head around that test and how it was technically possible. And one more thing is bothering me - if she ever goes up against Amber in a battle, Amber can steal her fire, right? I think a confrontation will happen. (hide spoiler)]
Finished - Huh. (view spoiler)[ Ok so my gut reaction was "Alex is a spy and not really a Cobra at all. Then I was wondering if he had a twin. THEN I thought - oh crap, even if he is a spy, he wouldn't purposely interfere with a plan to go after the BSA given what/who was on the line. So could he really be a Cobra? But then the harem doesn't make sense. Ugh now I am confused. (hide spoiler)]


Have you read any other books by Danica Rayne? It looks like it is her fourth book, so I wasn't expecting those awkward spots at the beginning of the book. I guess it got better toward the end, but it made the whole thing just average for me.
