June 2019 Mini Challenge - Why Not Celebrate?
Begins: 01June2019 / Ends: 30June2019


Of course, we'll celebrate graduations, weddings and Father's Day this June. But there are other reasons to celebrate as well....

* June 3 - National Doughnut Day - Read a book with a circle or circular item on the COVER (Post the cover)

* June 6 - National Yo-Yo Day - Read a book whose title or author name includes a hyphen. (Be sure to link to author name if you are using that option.)

* June 18 - World Juggling Day - Read a book whose title includes a word with double letters

* June 23 - Nat'l Eat at a Food Truck Day - Read a book with a main page genre of FOOD or FOOD AND DRINK

* June 30 - Nat'l Handshake Day - Read a book whose author's first and last initials are in HANDSHAKE. (Initial letters may be used only as often as they are in "handshake.")

RULES of the challenge

All books used must be a minimum of 100 pages long - Page length determined by HARDCOVER 1st edition. If there is no Hardcover, then the most popular paperback governs page #.

You may read in any format - text, audio or e-book.

You may use books you began in an earlier month, as long as you FINISH within the month of the challenge.

Completion entries must include:
Link to the book title (Be sure to post the Cover image if required for the task)
Link to author name (if needed for the task)
Date completed


You MUST finish the book before you can claim credit for completing the task.

If you'd like to be recognized as finishing, the challenge, please post a new comment alerting me to your finish. I do not get notifications when you edit your original post.
