Once the reading challenge starts, you can come over here and share the first book you're reading! Maybe you'll find someone else reading the exact same one?

Have you finished a book? Tell us as well! Maybe even add some of your thoughts about the book. Did you enjoy it? Or didn't you?

What's going to be your next read?

Every small progress you make, you can share here! Even if you just want to talk about a huge event that just occurred and you need to shout about it for a bit.

Jelena Milenković (kaliopi_ann) | 22 comments i'm currently rereading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. plan is to reread Geno e il sigillo nero di Madame Crikken trilogy also, as well as Little Women, if I manage, that is.

Jude: The Epic Reader (imnotjude) | 2 comments I finished a reread of Bloodlines and The Golden Lily and I plan of rereading the rest of the series as well.

So far I've reread Fruit's Basket Collector's Edition 1 and Fruit's Basket Volume 3 and I've also completed Volumes 4 through 9 of Fairy Tail. I'm about to start Fairy Tail Vol 10 and rereading Fruit's Basket Volume 4. I can't say I won't be rereading the few Fruit's Basket I have before the month is up. The manga(and anime reboot) just makes me so happy and I have the whole series(in collectors editions) coming from Amazon, right now it's saying end of this week to mid next week for estimated delivery, I'm hoping it comes sooner.

I really want to reread Harry Potter but I just don't have time?! Or so I tell myself. This may be self-inflicted...

message 6: by Bec (new)

Bec (_becandbooks) I've knocked off a couple on my original TBR:

Noughts & Crosses which I really loved and will continue the series
Last Seen Leaving which is a really great, gritty YA thriller/mystery

I started and DNF'd Birdy Flynn because the description of animal abuse was just too much.

I'm in the middle of Ida, Aurora Rising and Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Not on my TBR I've also read Life Outside the Circle, Shoot Around season #1 and Shoot Around season #2. It's really great to get back into webcomics and I'm feeling the pride for this month with these!

Summer (speaking_bookish) (speaking_bookish) | 59 comments I finished Tithe by Holly Black this morning. I hadn't been planning this as a reread because I didn't realize that I had already read it until I started it and quickly realized that I had, It was a long time ago though so it was good to read it again!

message 8: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 146 comments Finished my reread of Ace of Shades today and am close to halfway through my reread of Warcross as well, which I'm hoping to be done with by Monday or Tuesday.

Cobwebs-in-Space-Ice (readingreindeerproximacentauri) | 99 comments I reread the most excellent A Meeting with Medusa, which I first read and loved in 2017. Also reread for SciFi Readathon.

evofox (brycereads) | 27 comments so far finished The Assassin's Blade and Just One Damned Thing After Another. both were pretty good and were better then i remembered.
currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury and enjoying it immensely everything is just kind of awesome and the plot is moving in a fun way

message 11: by Brooke (new)

Brooke Lorren (brookelorren) | 9 comments Started rereading City of Bones. After reading all her other books it's interesting to see how she's improved as an author.

message 12: by Danni The Girl (new)

Danni The Girl I've not read City of Bones but I see the reviews are good for it. I'm just reading the last Percy Jackson book, hoping to read something a lot different next

message 13: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 146 comments Fairly certain I won't get everything read left on my list, but I should finish Caraval again this weekend, and get the two short books read easily enough in the week.
I may only have to leave one book unread and move it back to another month which is actually pretty good going! :)

So far I'm really enjoying the City of Bones reread ~ after reading 12 books in the series that came afterward, I appreciate the foresight to have all these things tie together. I can still tell this was her debut and the writing isn't quite as good as the rest of her books, but it's still good.

I finished my audiobook and found that Champion was available on audiobook at my library. So that's another reread I'm doing at the moment.

Valeria (valea22) | 6 comments That’s interesting. I read the city of bones and the following two of the mortal instrument series when they first came up and just finished the last three now. At the point I was reading them it was only meant to be a trilogy and then she did a lot of series connecting to this one (when authors do this) unless the series is exceptional I lose interest.

This year however it was a good year to finish this series, the books did became better later on, the first three even no bad had the plot of a soap opera and the main characters started grinding my nerves.

Now I’m reading the last two of the bloodlines series by Richelle Mead.
I read vampire academy and the first 3 of this spin off also years ago and this year I’m committed to finish it 🙃 bloodlines wasn’t as good as vampire academy but enjoyable nevertheless

message 16: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 146 comments I've read so many books this month! :D I've just got left a really short one I'll be reading later today and The Dark Days Pact to reread.
I've left Truthwitch on my list, but I won't have time, so I'll be pushing it back to that later month where I can pick up a couple of books I'd meant to read this year so far and haven't yet haha.

Misty's Book Space (mistysbookspace) | 1 comments I didn't plan on participating this month but I did end up rereading one book and that was Stalking Jack the Ripper

message 18: by Francesca (new)

Francesca Calarco | 8 comments I don't know I can count them as being "re-read" as I read the majority but not all of these in the past, but I am really happy I finished:
The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu The Tale of Genji - Murasaki Shikibu
A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn A People's History of the United States - Howard Zinn

My rereads for JJ:

Captive Prince — still 5 stars ♥

Prince's Gambit — still in progress, probably won't finish it today

Stalking Jack the Ripper — I should be able to finish this one today!

A Court of Thorns and Roses — def not finishing this today as it's just been my casual car audiobook while driving to and from work, etc.
