American Westerns discussion

I'm new to this group and trying to figure out if I belong here or not. LOL. I've written books with a Northern Cheyenne coauthor that are classified as westerns, but they're modern day cross-cultural conspiracy thrillers. Are books set in modern times but pull in history and Native American culture ok in this group or not? You can check my books out on https://www.dead-horse-canyon.com. If this is not where I belong I apologize. This was the only group that came up, though I haven't tried searching on indigenous yet. ;-)
