What was the reason behind penning down your thoughts? Bharat The Jungle Book is extremely close to my heart,this story was in my mind since years,and I was extremely fond of Bharat, the son of Shakuntala and king Dushyant who was born in a dense jungle of hastinapur. I was sure kids would love to know the other side of this story Bharat who was destined to become a great king but was born in a jungle..There was no story found about Bharat on any format or books and that allowed me to imagine his story..
What kind of feedback are you expecting? Kids should love this story I guess if only it reaches them.
How long did it take for you to write the book? The story was in my mind since I was a kid, but I was not sure if I could pen it down. Then I got so busy with my work that I didn’t get time to write it. I started writing it in 2014 when I realised my Kids are loving it in their bed time story sessions..I thought it should reach to more kids now.
Are you working on any upcoming books? It’s a Super hero story for the readers of all age. It’s a huge story and will take much more time then Bharat the Jungle Boy comparitively.
