oh thanks. I got through 35% today so I think I can do it! James Patterson is not a difficult read ;)

I've already started U book, but I can set it aside (for next week) and go for Myers. It'll probably be both books at the same time as one is audio (Myers) and another is on reader

For the remaining completion posts for this week:
Unless you have one of the tricky words, you don't need to scavenge for the sentences and locations anymore. We have filled our 25 that are allowed :-) Nice work, guys!!

We're got on the Paranormal front. If everyone finishes their books, then we've got 10 :-)

Oh, I hadn't realized we only need to complete 25 of the words!

I love fantasy too, but usually I'm more of an epic/high fantasy kinda girl. Not much of a fan of urban fantasy, though giving these a go because I love Carey's Kushiel books.

It's the launch event for Heartstopper: Volume Two - I love the author & I've been reading Heartstopper since the first part was posted ☺️ (plus it's a great excuse for a short trip to London to browse bookstores 😂)

Mini challenge
Michael Myers - It was either that or Michael Myers, pg 134

Next week, I'll be travelling and am just taking my kindle.. I have one book I know of already loaded for Shifters - luckily one very considerate person labelled it and its on the top shelves page.

I can also read another Deadwood Anne Charles book - there is a secondary character Ray Underhill but not shifters unfortunately.
We're going great overall in this challenge.. The Wheel of Brown is a lot of fun.

Top Shelves - shifters 2 people
Oh, I like Shifters! Gives me a chance to finally get to Kate Daniels.
I will read Magic Shifts which at least has a B and M. Hopefully others
and I will get into the second Mercy book Blood Bound which has U, M, B at least

Well that sucks!!
At least you can catch a flight in the morning and still be on time for your event (or so I assume) because it would be a shame to miss that! And if you have time, go to Foyles - lovely bookstore that works with half-floors and regularly has surprises like signed books etc.

It IS a lot of fun :-) I like WaT as well.
Lucky on the tags with your books haha! If you can manage the book with the U character as well, go for it! The rest of us will manage to get some shifter books together as well so not everyone of yours will have to have the tag and the U will definitely come in handy! :-)
Enjoy your trip!

My issue is on the opposite side haha. I have several shifter books that I could read but all the BOMs start next week as well.. Guess I'm just going to have to put those on ice until next week ;-)
I think I'm going to start with Magic Triumphs for next week. And then I'll see which book I want to pick up for shifters next.
After just a quick look at my shelves, my options are: Marked in Flesh Allegiance of Honor Linger
I'm pretty sure there are a few more.

There are several! The one I've visited and really liked was the one in Charing Cross (not far down the road from the Dominion Theatre and not too far away from Covent Garden).
I'm pretty sure that from Paddington you can even catch a straight tube line to get to one of the stations near Foyles - Tottenham Court Road or Charing Cross maybe.

Also, if you're going to go to Covent Garden, there is a shop called Fopp, which sells books, cds, dvds for really good prices. You can find some extraordinary gems there sometimes.
I bought the entire Black Magician trilogy by Trudi Canavan there a few years ago for the price of just one book - as an example.

and of course, if you go to the flagship Foyles you can wander down Charing Cross Road to check out the remaining bookshops (and the pricey special edition shops in Cecil Court :)
The flagship Waterstones on Piccadilly is also great: Europe's biggest bookshop, allegedly.
Best, though, is wandering in the Southbank's open air book market, under Waterloo Bridge (Waterloo station on the Bakerloo - head to the river and turn right, away from the Houses of Parliament / London Eye)
PS: for Foyles: Charing Cross station is at the far end of Charing Cross Road, the other side of Leicester & Trafalgar Squares. Totally walkable in about 15 mins, and is on the direct line from Pad (Bakerloo).

Cat, I went to the Riverside Book Market on my trip in 2006 and bought a whole bunch of Jean Plaidy paperbacks. Original 60's and 70's editions and sent them back home. I had read them all in my teens, this had started my love of English history but somehow after I left home my Mum chucked them out in a clean up! So when I saw them for sentimental reasons I couldn't resist them. The postage cost about double what the books cost, LOL.
