We're going to go to Phuket for 5 nights and then travel to Bangkok for the rest. So, 12 days in total. We're going to stay in two places but do day trips to nearby places

As much as I wanted to just finish it today... no.. I can't. I need to take a break after I just finished today's DQ section. I'll move on to my other romance freebie thingy that I'm sneak-reading at work and will leave the rest of the BOM for tomorrow.
Today's section just made me angry. Stupid characters.

The whole thing and its abuse of the English language makes me angry, lol.

I lived there 10 years ago now (gasp, doesn't feel like that long ago!!) and Internet was free and easy in those main cities so you should be fine.
Enjoy !!

I'm so jealous of those who have been able to just read it through. I find it so bad atm that I get through a few chapters and need a break. At least I can find the funny side by looking at all the comments in the discussion thread!!!

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it was definitely a case of I REALLY didn't want to still be reading this tomorrow. Just close your eyes and think of England, so to speak, lol!

Ooookay, do you think you could find an O maybe?
If all works well, and we finish all our outstanding books, then we have 5 completed words. If we're going to start word #6, might as well go for the difficult letter ;-)
Besides, it'd be back up just in case something comes up and I don't manage to finish my book.

Ah, Tea, read whatever you want :-)
Lisa just covered that extra O and my book fits all the letters so I can slot it in wherever, should I manage to get through it (Tangled Threads).

I know... right?!!
tbh, for a book written 24 years ago about the 2050s I thought it had stood the test of time pretty well. A little funny that they are still using discs and talk about making tapes (video tapes), but that is the problem with setting things in the future, isn't it?!
I really liked Eve, and I thought the insta-love with her and Roarke was believable. Plus I didn't guess the mystery so lots of ticks. I will continue on, hopefully it won't take me 6 years to get to book 2. haha

Glad you enjoyed it. It's one of the series you can read over time. I just finished book 30 and I think I started reading them around 2014.

That is what is so crazy to me that there are just SO MANY books in the series.

It is a little daunting... My next book in the series is #8, so still a long way to go as well.
But I'm also glad to hear you enjoyed the first book :-) Lots of interesting crimes to follow.

Done!
GR obviously didn't like the book either. I'd finished, tagged and reviewed it and everything, but it refused to show up anywhere. So I did it all again, and it must have decided to finally allow the other one while I was sleeping, lol.

That really does speak for the series though. Getting that far without realising it... At least it means that it doesn't start sucking majorly somewhere down the line.
