Vegan Book Club discussion

Hi guys!

I just wanted to expand a bit more on Vegan Book Club.

I'm an avid reader and passionate vegan, and, lately, I've noticed that most books I'm reading include a vegan or vegetarian character. At first, I thought this was amazing...and then the character opens their mouth. These characters are always either obnoxious and preachy or the narrator feels the need to criticize their lifestyle just because.

I wanted to read more books with veg characters to see how they're represented, and I thought "Wouldn't it be fun to see what other people think of these books and their characters?"

And Vegan Book Club was born!

While I'd like to focus on novels with veg characters (major or minor, good or bad), Vegan Book Club is open to other types of books as well!

I'll be creating a topic so we can throw around ideas for our first read, and I'm looking forward to what you guys suggest!

I've created a little website/landing page for VBC with links to our goodreads page, social media, etc. It's a much easier link to share than our goodreads url lol
