Would you like to join a fun team or as a solo player? You'd still be doing it on your own if you went solo, but it might help you to see where you'd be best for the next challenge ☺

Just a quick question as I sort out my books. I'm planning on doing the buddy read for gone girl on the 15th does this mean it will count as a buddy read or does it only count if I read it with a buddy from this thread? I'm just checking now. Thank you.

Hello, you can buddy read with anybody in the whole group, it doesn't have to be someone who's taking part in the challenge ☺

Sarah, can I re-read a few weeks before my 12 month? I finished it at the very end of July last year but want to read it early this coming month to BR

Thank you just checking to make sure books are accepted as different groups have different rules and I have read the rules but just double checking.

If a buddy read started in June and I never got to it but it’s still going on, will it count at all for the July challenge for buddy reads? Or just page/description points.

I think it would count if you haven't started it and it's still active. I might be able to find something in the rules to confirm this.

Nothing really solid in the rules so I expect you are fine.

I think I saw somewhere that if you tell Sarah before you start reading it you can use it even if it changes. Let me see if I can find it.

sorry to be asking this question again, but can we still do that thing where, if we didn't finish a book by the end of June, we can start over and claim all of the page points? or would we only be able to claim points for the pages we read in July?

As long as it is not more than 14 days after the start date or last comment (whichever is later), then the buddy read will still be classed as active and will count ☺

I think there were quite a few people not checked in yesterday, so I'll have to go through teams and message people. I'm not sure if it will be today though as I've got to try and wrap up June's challenge x

Hi Siobhan, Bookbuyer is right, it's probably safer to use a different description which is unikely to change, so this edition - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8... for exa,ple, has a 3 in the ISBN, so you could count it using that. I have made a note of the average rating now though, so even if it does change it will still count ☺

Hi Faith, if you want to start over from the beginning in July, then the book will count in full as all of it has been read in July. Just let me know when you post your review that that is what you have done ☺

Sarah is there any way to use for the challenge? I see no page count. I don't mind combining it with another short read but with no pages I have no idea what I can/cannot use it with if at all.

You can use it for the Magic Number Challenge. It has 3 words in the title. :)

It's the page count. It doesn't exist.

Did you read it on your kindle? If it has the total words/location I think there's a way to turn that into pages.
