J.P. Choquette (jpchoquette) OK, this might be a stretch...but I love good, old-fashioned (and modern day) horror if it isn't over-the-top with gore/torture/dismemberments. Any suggestions?

One that I read earlier this year and LOVED which I think would fall into the relatively clean category was Hunted by Darcy Coates So good!

Amanda (amandalyn) | 114 comments I am not a big fan of horror, so I am not sure if this fits what you are looking for, but I did love The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I highly recommend it and, for me, it had a huge creepy factor. Also, would some Ted Dekker books fit that category?
