Greetings fellow Sentientists, and friends - I hope you are all well.
A shout out and thanks to those of you who have added more titles to this group's bookshelf - much appreciated! I haven't set a book of the month for June. But summer officially begins in this hemisphere in about a week or so, and it's already full swing for me. So I have plans to try to read a few of the books on our shelf:
Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark, and The Better Angels of Our Nature by Steven Pinker. I'm also planning to read The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-Wells. If I find that it would be a really good sentientism read and fitting to the group's interests, I'll add it to the shelf.
Please let me know if you'd like to read any of the above along with me - Also, please reply to let us all know what you're reading and if you'd like to shout it out to ask for read-alongs.
If any of you have come across books that are relevant to animal welfare, ethics and sentientism, please feel free to add them to the shelf!
