😉 Messing up polls you mean?
Just kidding! Always a pleasure!

& we have a winner. National Velvet was the successful book! :)
Karlyne, I'm happy to lead this read - unless you want to?
& Open Library looks pretty straightforward, but I will post if I need help figuring it out.
The read will start the 15th of August.

Hi Moonkiszt
Do you mean when we are going to read this?
We will be starting this the 15th of August. I was thinking about making it three weeks, rather than our usual month.
Thoughts?

@ Peggy I'm intending to read The Incredible Journey next month. I can put up a discussion thread if you like. :)

If I ever read National Velvet I don't recall it, but I do remember going to see the movie at the NaeNae picture theatre, The Regent, soon after it opened.

Moonkiszt wrote: "What's the current read now? Not sure how I missed this?"
Hi Moonkiszt
The current read is The Far Country which is winding down now.
You can find our reads on our home page here https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
I'm about to add National Velvet but this won't show on this page yet unless you click on upcoming.
Easiest way to keep track of your reads is on your own group page https://www.goodreads.com/group/list/... Any that your groups' moderators have loaded up should be in the right hand column.
Hope this helps. :)

If I can find a copy, I'd like to read it, too. I remember it as a quick read?
