We will be starting this the 15th of August. I was thinking about making it three weeks, rather than our usual month.

I thought (hoped) The Incredible Journey might win. I even went so far as to get my hardcover copy off the bookshelf in the back room!

If I ever read National Velvet I don't recall it, but I do remember going to see the movie at the NaeNae picture theatre, The Regent, soon after it opened.

What's the current read now? Not sure how I missed this?

I think it probably is, since I first discovered it in my elementary school library. :)
