TheYaLibrarian and Amy, do you want to do the college or job route? I am assuming college is more expensive at first but pays off in the long run. Since we are a just for fun team, we may not read enough books for college to pay off, so maybe we should get a job right away? I don’t fully understand the rules though! Either is fine with me.

HELLO EVERYONE!

Since we are getting to closing to finishing our June challenge and our July one is basically about to starts - can teams please let me know by tomorrow what route they would like to use: COLLEGE or CAREER.

I will be making the review threads for each team and starting the rolling process tomorrow morning That way everyone has a day (at least) to start preparing on what they are going to read or not.

Alaina if no else on the team speaks up before you need the info, please put us down for career.

TheYaLibrarian and Amy, please tell me I'm not alone for this challenge! Lol.

Hello Caroline! I apologize that it has been such a hectic week for me at work. It was end of quarter and this was my one day off - so definitely been running around my head cut loose doing errands! Lol!

Right now I'm home and relaxing but thought that I should definitely send out reminder messages to everyone that hasn't showed up to check in yet - so have no fear! If they still don't check in I will move you to another fun team if you'd like!!

Thank you for choosing CAREER! Your team's SS and review thread have been updated to reflect your first task for this wonderful July/August challenge. If it is already July where you live, you can start Game of Life. If not, then resume reading for our June challenge.

Hello Everyone,

Due to some confusion, please only look at the task you are given on your review thread. If need be, I will tell you what tab to exactly look at on your SS. Even though I gave every team the first two turns, on the SS, please do not look ahead because then everyone will be confused. Only look at the task you were given.

When I update the review thread, I will let you all know what your next task will be on the team's chat thread and update the SS as well.

If I need to hide certain tabs until you get to that point, I will.

Hey team, I am about a third of the way through , and expecting to finish it up in another week or so. Has everyone else started a nonfiction book yet? I am actually reading one other nonfiction book right now as well, so I could cover one other person's book if necessary.

It has been over a week since I gave you all your first task, Read a book with an MPG Nonfiction or tagged as "NONFICTION" on first page, and I was just popping in to see how everything is going? Did you all find a book or need any help?

I am almost done with a nonfiction book. I’ll probably finish it this weekend.

What about everyone else? Amy, I don’t think you ever checked in, and TheYALibrarian, we haven’t heard from you since you checked in. Are you both still here and planning to participate?

Due to some complaints, I will be changing the Game of Life board (ss) completely at some point today. Which means scores and everything will be put on hold until tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience - everyone will be getting nice easy tasks from now on.
