Determined to live a dark life in the company of the assassin who freed her from bondage, Sarai sets out on her own to settle a score with an evil sadist. Hey, Trisha, we got our thread!!! Wow! I don't know where to start. How far along are you, or have you finished it yet?

I won't post anything that could be a spoiler without marking it as such, so feel free to read regular spoilers.

After I read the short, brief "About Reviving Izabel," I was a little sad. I was sad because it said that she wanted to become like Victor and that was something she could never turn back from. I hate that anyone would allow their revenge to take them to that dark of a place. I do understand though.

You know me, so you know that my memory fails me. I was trying to remember at first if Victor was her captor or did her wrong in book #1. I'm still not 100% sure if he did her any wrong, but I gather that he was obviously an assassin but only helped her. Otherwise I couldn't be for them at all.

Chapters 1-6 I only commented on those chapters since I know you've read all of them.
Sarai: It seriously made me sad to know that she's (view spoiler)[plotting out her kill! I get it but I know that I could/would NEVER be able to take revenge that far, even if I wanted to! She's a bit stupid to go to Hamburg alone! It's not like she is skilled or truly ready to tackle someone of his nature! OMG! What was she thinking! She blew it with the "list" she asked about. so Chapters 1 - 6 (view spoiler)[ I agree, it was silly and foolish of her to show up and think it would be so easy to kill him. Victor is trained for a reason... (hide spoiler)]

From book 1 (view spoiler)[ I sadly don't remember how his wife died either but I.....don't remember Sarai doing it. I think maybe the wife helped her escape or she died of her own choice (sacrificed herself) so Sarai could get away but I'm not sure (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 7 - 16

Sarai(view spoiler)[ I'm glad she is getting more formal training - she really is getting in over her head!! and I'm so sad her friends were murdered because of her (hide spoiler)]

Her first take down(view spoiler)[ I'm also glad they gave her the tough job of luring that guy out. It's a simple job but one she's good at (hide spoiler)]

Victor(view spoiler)[I like that he's taking care of her and hiding the woman she considers her mom. it's tough for him to live that life and then get close to someone (hide spoiler)]

Oh wow! Did you read any of our old posts for book 1? It helped some but I can't believe we read it 2 years and 4 months ago! LOL I don't want to wait that long again! And thanks for the link. :)

Chapters 7-16
Sarai (view spoiler)[I know! I can only imagine how you'd feel if you felt something like someone's death was in ANY way partly your fault. I felt terrible when they were killed too and at first just thought they'd be resurrected. LOL I couldn't believe they were both killed! (hide spoiler)]

Her first take down (view spoiler)[yes! Is that the one where she was supposed to lead him Victor's way but she ended up doing the opposite? She's definitely a good Order member! LOL (hide spoiler)]

Victor (view spoiler)[is hard to completely understand. Reading back in my posts from book 1, I saw back then that he has a good heart in some ways. I was worried that maybe her "mom" would get killed when he hid her at that time. I seriously thought that was the end of her. (hide spoiler)] But I'm not saying what happens and no hints! LOL

How's the reading coming?

Good, just finished!! I didn't love this one as much as you, but I did like it

Oh jeez, I'm sorry you didn't like it much! But thanks for reading it with me. Will you be continuing with the series? I'm curious who the lady at the end is that joins their Order in the next book.

Through the end (view spoiler)[I forget so much when I don't discuss or do my reviews right away, but I do remember that Izabel became so into killing that it was like she liked it for the sake of it, and that I didn't like. (hide spoiler)]

I'm also glad that Victor and Izabel (view spoiler)[work so well together, like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. I really saw them like that only I don't think Bonnie and Clyde were so into the murdering. They were more into it for the money/robberies, right? (hide spoiler)]
