What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I received this book as an ARC so it's either just been released or will be shortly.

From what I remember it either falls under psychological thriller/women's fiction- about a big time helicopter mom whose daughter(s) go to college and something happens. Not sure if the daughter disappears or is killed - and the mother feels that SHE is the only one that can help her. I think the college may be in NY.
