This is so hard to choose and I want to default to Harry Potter. But, I'm not going to because it's kind of a given. I'm going with the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire.

The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset by Suzanne Collins
And
The Lonesome Dove Chronicles by Larry McMurtry
Also
Pines (the whole series) by Blake Crouch
Oh my, if I think about it anymore, I am going to come up with more. No way to pick just one.

My favorite book...that's a difficult question to answer for me. I would have to say it would be the book that got me started reading. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

The stand by Stephen King, 1153 pages.

I know I have read others that were written in the 1800's, but what comes to mind would be Little Women.

I have never read the Twilight series. It gained popularity close to Harry Potter series, but just never read any of them.

Oh. There are quite a few I would love to see on the screen. This one is really hard. One I would like would be the Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. It is a wonderful fantasy series where there are magical elements and of course the underdog fighting to save the world. The battle scenes that are described and seeing the way they would portray furies would be awesome.

I have so many! From a Buick 8 by Stephen King. I go back to reading this one often.

Anything by Jane Austen. I just missed my chance apparently and can not seem to go back and read them.

I have owned more than one copy of Little Women. If I lose a copy, or forget where it is, I try to get another.

Any in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. In many of them, I laughed out loud while reading!

The Association by Bentley Little. I know that there is also a supernatural aspect to it, but it was creepy.

No, I am pretty open to trying to read almost anything.

I am not sure if any give me happy memories. Some lift my spirits, some make me think deeply. I guess I would have to answer Little Women for this.

Stephen King. I love his books and his narrative style. I have read and reread his titles many times!
138. What is the longest series you own? If you don't own books, what is the longest series you have read?

Sideways Stories from Wayside School. I enjoyed reading it with my son!

I own all of Harry Potter books.

The Pendergast Series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Starting with Relic and ending with (book 19) Crooked River

I’m really enjoying Secondhand Spirits (A Witchcraft Mystery) by Juliet Blackwell.

Grave Secret is the last book in the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris which I have not read yet because it took a weird kind of ick turn.

The longest book series would be the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Patiently awaiting the book Peace Talks that is supposed to be out this year!

I enjoyed Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

Any other time: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Growing up, I read a lot and almost everything I could get my hands on. My mammaw read a little, and my mother read mostly romances. My mother-in-law reads a lot also. It is enjoyable to be able to discuss books with someone.

I try not to. I believe that everyone needs to enjoy what they read, and my preferences might not be someone else's. I would be afraid to take the fun out of reading. But I do believe that everyone should read!

I am a fast reader. It is almost like devouring a book! Although, I usually read my favorites more than once. On other read-throughs, I sometimes come upon different perspectives that I did not think about the first time.
