There are many books that I could list here, but I will go with The Stand by Stephen King. I read it years ago and still think about it.

I've read a lot of average or below average books this year, but I was pretty disappointed with Home Before Dark by Riley Sager. After reading Lock Every Door by him I really expected more from this one.
My disappointing read this year, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. The story could have been great with the parts about government control and free will but they were drowned out by all the violence. And the last/extra, controversial chapter (view spoiler)

The Red Lotus by Chris Bohjalian. I had never read anything by him before. I didn't go in with any expectations. It was such a weird concept, but I somehow ended up really liking it.

Most surprising read this year, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. I had such low expectations for this book. I thought the author was just trying to make more money off The Hunger Games. I don't know if she was or not, but I ended up loving this book as much as The Hunger Games trilogy.

I've only read one book my a lot of my favorite authors. I've read multiple books Riley Sager has written, so I'm obviously going to say Lock Every Door.

My least favorite book by Sager is The Last Time I Lied. Of course, it was also the first book I read by him. I almost didn't read anymore by him.
One of my favorite authors is Stephen King. But, I disliked It so much that I didn't finish it. (Thank goodness I did not start with that book.)

My favorite SK book is The Stand.

Hermione from Harry Potter comes to mind. I am sure there are others, but my mind is drawing a blank. So, I will be smart and magical for a day.

I know this sounds weird, but Katherine from The Tenth Muse is such an interesting fictional character that I don't read about often in other novels.

I don't really have a method. It all depends on what needs to go back to the library soon and the mood I'm in.

- Goodreads groups monthly reads. ...when I decide to participate.
- Challenges I am doing.
- My mood.
- Occasionally, I do a buddy read. Now that I think of it, it has been quite awhile since I have done this.

I haven't been to many, so this could obviously change in the future. Right now my favorite is HPB but B&N is a close second.
Favorite bookstoreRight now it is Amazon. Shopping from the convenience of my home. And one click buying.
But a new used bookstore has opened up in London, Second Chance Bookstore. It might become my favorite.

Lately, I've been buying books online, but I much prefer browsing and buying books in a physical bookstore.
Online bookstores. I have not been in a physical bookstore in over 8 years.
There's just something about a physical bookstore that just makes me so much happier. You also get to see the condition the book is in right then and there.

Oh wow! I couldn't refrain from going to a physical bookstore for 8 years. Although, it would probably be great for my wallet. But, then there's online book shopping.

It was my favorite book to read, or have read to me, as a little kid. It was a cute story book that is sadly out of print. It is the first story book that I also remember reading on my own. It is kind of similar to Dr. Seuss with all of the cute rhymes and lessons.
As a child, I loved Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon by Patty Lovell, The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

I used to go to the library with my mom when I was in elementary school and work on my school projects. We would find books for research, and we'd use the computers to type out anything we needed.I wasn't an avid reader at the time.
My favorite childhood memory of the library is when my grandmother would take me to get Junie B. Jones books over summer breaks.
