The Briar Club by Kate Quinn
The Grandest Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Death at Morning House by Maureen Johnson

I read three books in July, the entire Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson.
Least Favorite: Truly Devious
Favorite: The Hand On The Wall.

can't wait to get my hands on men have called her crazy by anna marie tendler

Buddy reading with some friends. That's really about it.

Um...I don't know if I have one. I don't watch enough movies to even know.

I don't have a favorite. But some of my favorite movies star Harrison Ford or Sandra Bullock. Also enjoy movies with Tom Hanks.

Now that I think of it, I have a few. Benedict Cumberbatch, Florence Pugh, Saoirse Ronan, Stanley Tucci, Judi Dench, Kenneth Brannagh.

i'm gonna agree with krystyna about matthew lillard. i'd watch anything if he was in it lol.

I have to work, so I'll read as much as I can and work on crochet projects.

Nonfiction/memoirs
I don’t really know of a third that I like/read enough.

The Beautiful and Maddox brothers series by Jamie Mcguire.

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

the world in howl's moving castle is the only one i can think of. most of the stuff i read is either just set in reality or i'd never wanna live in whatever world it's set in lol

I don't think there is a bookish world I'd want to live in. It's either too real or too scary.

Cooler weather. Cozier vibes.

Fall is my favorite so I could list a million things but if I had to pick one thing, it would be an upcoming trip.
QOTD: What's Up Wednesday - What are you currently reading, watching, listening to, playing, loving, etc.?

• Reading - A Court of Mist and Fury, Until I Get You, The Book of Doors
• Watching - I've started rewatching Pretty Little Liars and I'm loving it just as much the second time around. I also recently saw Coraline in 3-D, which was amazing, and the new Deadpool x Wolverine movie in theater.
• Listening - I've been listening to ACOTAR playlists on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. I decided to make my own playlist for my love of this book series. I also have started listening to my fall playlist because there's been a chill in the air of the mornings and evenings, which I'm loving!
• Playing - I haven't been playing anything super recently, but the last games I played lately I love! I've played Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5 and Stardew Valley on my Switch.
• Loving - I've been loving making new coffee recipes at home. I have seriously reduced the amount of coffee I buy at coffee shops because of it. I also have been loving going to a local coffee shop with a book and sitting at a table in the window surrounded by plants while I read my book and sip on coffee. I also went to my first ever silent book club meeting and I'm trying to get one started up locally because the closest official chapter is a little over an hour away.

Currently reading: Circe by Madeline Miller, Giant Days vol 7 by John Allison, and I Was a Teenage Slasher by SGJ.
Watching: I've been watching a lot of streamers play a game called Still Wakes the Deep. The voice acting in the game is so good.
Listening: I've been listening to a lot of Soundgarden / Audioslave and some Bill Withers.
Playing: I've been obsessed with Cluedo after learning it's on Steam.
Loving: I'm still loving crocheting. I've also been sitting outside in the evenings and reading. I know it's supposed to get hot again, but the 70 degree weather has been amazing.
I also have a tennis ball shooter that I use to play with my dog, and she loves it so much so I've been enjoying watching her have fun with that.

Getting enough sleep.
Sitting outside when the weather is nice enough.
Creating things (crocheting, drawing, painting, etc)

• Reading - A Court of Mist and Fury, Until I Get You, The Book of Doors
• Watching - I've start..."
lmk if you get a silent book club thing going. I'd be down.

I don't have any plans.
