Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

How did you like the book?
Spoilers welcome for the entire book on this thread.

I finished the book today and really enjoyed it. I was interested in the podcast aspect from the start as an avid daily podcast listener. My podcast habit is more focused on news and information rather than true crime, but I have been hooked on some serial crime podcasts and Anna's morning habit rang a bell with me.
Anna taking off with her best friend's husband right as he and Anna are both abandoned seemed a bit crazy at first but it really worked for me as the story played out. As the story turned into an unexpected action adventure I found myself enjoying the scenery and the emotional revelations along with the fairly fast pace.
