How do I ask about a book? I tried but got a message that I needed to verify my email.

Julia, a common problem after joining Goodreads is you need to verify your email address before you can access all of the site's features esp. group features. Try this:

1. Go into your email program (Gmail/Outlook/etc.), and look for an email from Goodreads.com in your Inbox -- or possibly your Spam folder.
2. Follow the instructions in the email and click on the Goodreads link. This will tell Goodreads that you used a valid email account when signing up.
3. Then come back to our group, and you should be able to post a message to create a book request. Here's the link: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/new?c...

Not sure of which email address you used when signing up? Try this:

1. Using the full desktop website (not the mobile app or mobile version), click your tiny profile image/link in the upper-right corner.
2. Select "Account Settings", then the "Emails" tab at the top. Look for "Not Receiving Emails? Alert emails will be sent to your-email-address" in the right-hand column.
