Charlene (charlene_sweden) | 9 comments Hey all of you booklovers out there!

My pile of books is growing more and more each day and now I want to get rid of some books so that I can get new ones, they're both in english and swedish.
Would anyone be interested in exchanging books with me? :)
Contact me for more info on the books.

Charbel (queez) | 2729 comments It's an interesting idea Charelene, but good or bad I'm incredibly attached to my books. I am ashamed to admit that the word "hoarding" came up in a conversation about my books.

Me too! Too much I have to say. When we moved into this new house last Jenuary I couldn't manage even giving away books I've got in two or even three copies. I think I've got a problem here. Luckly I'm converted to ebooks. I wouldn't really know where to place new books!

Charlene (charlene_sweden) | 9 comments I see what you mean guys, but some of the books I am not so very fond of, hence why I'm asking if someone would be interested in having them. I can also agree to just give them away to someone who will have much more joy from them than I did have. I give every single book a chance, but I am kinda picky when it comes to books that appeal to me. so if anyone is interested in what books I have to give away, just send me a pm and I'll reply as soon as I can :)

Get rid of books?

Egad!

I suppose I would sooner get rid of some books than some of my children, but not by much!

Lol! I'm with you on that. The only books I have no problem parting with are old computer manuals...and they were never read anyway!

Jackie | 1576 comments I think it's nice to swap and give away books. If they're just going to sit on a shelf and not be read why not pass them on to someone who's going to get pleasure and make use of them?

Tweedledum (tweedledum) | 2166 comments I passed on a lot of books last year through bookmooch. Only trouble was I earned a lot of points and received a lot of new old books that way too. But I really like the idea of http://www.bookcrossing.com you can track the books you give away to see where they end up.
