Did you go back to January to start your consecutively read connections? You may do that, do you know?

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Ohhhh, Desolation Island was my very first Patrick O'Brian novel. I loved it and found a whole new world of books at sea. I love Jack and Stephen.

And Crystal Line has always been one of my all time
favorite Anne McCaffrey books. I always wished there were more in this series.

I didn't, and I just finished reading the Pern series in chronological order. Maybe I should rethink my order of books. Thanks for the advice and the welcome!

Yes! I love Patrick O'Brian, I listened to a whole bunch of his audiobooks when I was sick, but I seem to have missed this one, so I'm really enjoying the read. I loved Horatio Hornblower back when I was in high school, also.

I just finished Crystal Line. I'd never read it before, and it was so awesome! I wish she had written more in that series, too. I want to know how the Heptite Guild develops, and more about the interesting opalescence creature.

All of your Pern titles bring back soooo many good memories. I read them over and over. Some even fell apart. :)
