We now have 15 members!! Yay! Once we have 20 members, I'll take a poll asking if we should do group reads. So, invite your friends!!

Also, if you haven't checked it out, we have a bookshelf of Books by Members. Make sure you take a look at what our talented members have written!!

We are having a writing contest running October through November! You can check out all the details and RSVP to the event.
Also, we have an Author Bio topic, so go take a look at that!

Only five days left to RSVP to the contest Event!! It would be great if you could RSVP whether you're doing it or not, so we have an idea of how many people are participating.
Also, we have a Newsletter folder, so if you are new, or didn't receive the newsletters for some reason, you can find them there.

I have extended the RSVP date for the writing contest event to the end of the month, so if you have not RSVP'd, you can go ahead and do that.

Today is the last day to vote on the poll deciding if we should do group reads. If you haven't voted yet, please make sure you do that before the poll closes!
Also, if you are participating in the writing contest for October and November, you can post your entry in the October-November 2014 Contest folder. For more details on how to do this, check out the contest guidelines. You have until the 30th of November to submit, but the sooner you get it to us, the better. Happy writing!

Alternatively, you could volunteer for a different month. I wasn't really on the ball this month, but I think after this we'll have nominations first, which will just carry over to the next month if no one volunteers.

So far we have not gotten any submissions for the contest. The deadline is the end of the month, so if you wrote/are writing an entry, please submit it before then!!!

Hi everyone,
Some of you might already know this, but Lena is feeling that God is calling her to spend more time off the internet/Goodreads. She will not be on here very often anymore. Please pray for her that she is able to do that!
Because of that, we will need another mod (and possibly two), especially as this group grows. I know some of you submitted your "mod forms" to us, so if there is anyone still interested, please inform me by email or in the "new mod" forum.
