I am really hyped about this book, because one of my friends suggested me to read it. I have somewhat expectations to love it. Hopefully, I am right.
I don't have any expectations. I've just seen people like it so, I grabbed it awhile back when it was on sale. Hoping that it's going to be pretty good!

I'm not sure what I think yet. Just finished the first three chapters.
Sadly, I am a bit behind of reading, but I hope to catch up soon.

I finished this today. I really liked it. Take your time though, and I'm here if/when you want to discuss it a little!

I am very close to finishing it (around 100 pages left) and we could start talking about this book! tbh I am so ready to gush about it and I am very happy that I choose it as a buddy read.

Back to Lira. She is SUCH A GREAT CHARACTER. I wish more female character where like her. Badass, but not emotionless. Aware of their surroundings and not oblivious to dumb choices/ mistakes she made.
I saw you rated it 4 stars. How come?
To be honest, I wanted to rate it only 3 stars, because of the flaws the book has. (world building, VERY rushed ending, lack of personality in minor characters) In the end I enjoyed it so much that I ended up giving it 4 stars anways. I really enjoyed reading it and I loved the writing stlye. Also the main characters were likable. The author did a great work on them.
I think the same as you. The book definitely had its flaws. The pacing was off in some areas but I ended up enjoying it anyways and felt like it deserved 4 stars.

I am a bit sad that the book will not have a sequel. The world is huge and I think it has a lot of kingdoms left to explore and to explain. I would enjoy reading about adventures the Prince and his crew could have!

yes, her next book doesn't really sound like one I'd usually pick up. But I liked her so, why not. haha
