Lisa Colton Donavan, A to the motherf-king Z! Sweet Jesus the man is sex on a stick. I think he's my favorite out of my top leading men of Christian and Gideon. He's a little intense but God his fun sexual side sets him aside from Christian and Gideon and that raises the bar for me, can't see Christian or Gideon at a carnival with cotton candy winning prizes and all. I absolutely loved Driven, Fueled, Crashed and now Raced. Raced makes you see the little boy in the very masculine, handsome man he's become. Colton's strong, confident, sexy, hot, fun and add to that his fears, making him so vulnerable that you just have to love him. Bromberg's character for Rylee is just perfect for Colton, they speak to your heart, flaws and all, the way she describes Rylee to hold his heart in gentle hands, makes you want to cry happy tears for them.

One of my favorites is Haddie wondering how Colton is in bed..."A little reckless, pushing all the limits, and in it until the very last lap". God help me, I don't even follow racing but I'm surely thinking of watching it some time, with all this checkered flag claiming and such. I need to learn the racing terms like for one "rubbing's racing". Bromberg has such great lines throughout each and every book, Raced being possibly the funniest for me adding in more dialogue between Colton and Becks regarding the Vegas trip and right before the wedding. She is very talented, so well written. She obviously is striving for perfection with such a great story. I can't get enough of Colton and Rylee and can't wait for Becks and Haddie's story, hope there's more of Colton and Rylee in it. I wish every author would write from the males point of view such as Bromberg and E.L. James, these men are too dark, sexy, intense and emotional to not want to get in their minds. Everyone wants more of the future between passionate, powerful insanely beautiful couples that make each other better.

Spiderman Batman Superman Ironman

Mary I just finished this series. Read 3 books in 4 days LOL I literally couldn't put them down. I had to know what was going to happen. Right now I"m reading Raced the 4th book that has some of the POV from Colton for some parts of all 3 books.

I would agree that this series....that Colton Donovan...is one of my top book boyfriends. This series was better than Fifty Shades to me. Personally.

I also agree about more authors writing from male POV. It would be great...I think many women would love to read stories from the men POV.

After Raced though I"m not sure what I'll read...I'm still stuck on Colton.

Cindy I'm starting Raced today, can't wait. Colton is right up there with the other male hotties.

Natascha Housen I'm reading Raced now, it's really good. I'm not always a fan of the males POV but this is great

Lisa Cindy, I may love Colton better than Christian or Gideon, depending on how Crossfire ends that's when I'll make my final decision. Whoever posted a picture of what they thought Colton looked like on goodreads Driven page for me was right on the money. I love Colton even though he's dark and handsome he's a lot of fun. Although he's worth a fortune he has down to earth good fun, carnivals with cotton candy and winning Rylee prizes an go carting. Can't see Christian or Gideon doing that. I can't wait for Slow Burn.

Cindy I don't know Christian is still my number 1. But Colton is up there.

MsB It's been some time since I read the " Driven Trilogy" and I'm wondering if I should re-read it before reading "Raced". Any suggestions?

Cindy Raced is Colton's point of view. So parts of the book will be a repeat of what you have already read.
Can't wait for Becks and Haddie's story

message 9: by MsB (new) - rated it 4 stars

MsB I'm unsure if it's because I read so many books or what. But I often forget what happened in the previous books in a series. Now I find myself
re-reading a series before starting a new book in that series.

Cindy I do too sometimes. I read an average of 5 books a week. I'm going crossed eyed..lol

message 11: by MsB (new) - rated it 4 stars

MsB Yup I'm reading about the same. Recently I've also taken to listening to audio books while working around the house. So I'll have one book to sit and read during quite times and a totally different book to listen too.

Cindy cool. I may try that.

message 13: by MsB (new) - rated it 4 stars

MsB Audio books are great for really big books like the Outlander series. Grant it I also buy the e-book so I can read when I'm not listening.

Loved it and when you have read one like this its hard to find one similar although I love the Thoughtless & Mine series too:-)

Lisa Wow ladies thanks for all the comments in our new blog, I'm lovin' it! I haven't tried an audio book yet, I can't get past if the sex seens are good or what if I don't like the males voice. Is it that good? I read all my books with my kindle, I average 7-10 books a week at least. I'm addicted! I have to re-read a series as well prior to next release date since I read so many different books it's easy to forget.

Janice, Thanks for the tip of Thoughtless & Mine, I'm gonna check it out, especially now since I'm at a stand still can't find anything that good, so I've been re-reading some of my books. I really want to find something as good as Driven, I love it that much and there's not a lot of series or standalones out there that are as good.

Cindy, The reason I debate Christian remaining my number one is the copper hair, I try to get past that but he stills remains there for me because E.L. James was my first read into the erotic romance/BDSM and I can't read anything else since. Colton I can't help but give him the number 2 spot for now until the Crossfire series ends. Colton's fun sexy side just gets to me every time.

Natascha Housen Who is the Mine series by?

Natascha Housen Lisa, have you tried the Beautiful Mess series. That is very good. Or book boyfriend series by Erin Noelle, which is another fantastic series

message 18: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Thanks for tip, I'll have to check my list to see if I've read that one. I've read so many that I can't remember all of them. I don't like books that are too dark, I like kink but not to the point of abusiveness.

Natascha Housen Neither of these series are dark, although the book boyfriend series has a bit of a love triangle and I know not everyone likes that sort of thing. That series reminds me a lot of the thoughtless series which is one on my favourites.
I'm like you in how many books I read and they tend to all blur together sometimes.

message 20: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Thanks for the love triangle tip, I don't like those. I'll just have to keep searching for something else to read until Crossfire comes out.

Natascha Housen It feels like I have been waiting forever for the new crossfire book to come out........I need a release date

Natascha Housen Have you read the fixed series?

message 23: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Release date for Captivated By You is November 18, 2014 in most countries, unless she changes it as she's known to have done in the past. I haven't read the Fixed Series yet, I've heard good things about it. When you get a chance to keep yourself up to speed with Crossfire check out my other blog on goodreads "Captivated By You - Seriously Now?" There's a lot of interesting posts on there, we have a lot of fun and only respectable negative comments on Day.

Natascha Housen I shall check it out and thanks for updating me with the release date. Originally that book was due out in December 2013

message 25: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Yep, but you can't take anything Day says seriously. Try to read the blog I mentioned above from the very beginning and you'll be surprised what you find out. Many readers don't realize what we've discovered. Crossfire will be the first and last book(s) I ever read from Day again. Quick question, when someone asks you to be their friend on goodreads, what does that mean exactly? Does that have anything to do with FB? If not how does one communicate as a friend on goodreads? I don't have an active FB account and don't wish too. I've approved many friends on goodreads but have no clue what that means. Sad right lol

Natascha Housen I don't have an active FB either. Lol. If your friends with someone on GR then they can follow what you have been reading or want to read and vice versa. If you comment on any of the threads, that will also show on the updates or your friends but if you wanted to talk outside of the feed (so others can't read what you have said) then you can directly message them through the GR app or website.

message 27: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa I wish I had known about the private posts before today because some of the things I've posted regarding Crossfire on the other blog probably shouldn't have been there for all to see especially because we believe Day's personally following our blog. LOL Oh well, we only posted facts. Really if you check it out and read it from the beginning you'll see what I mean, we don't believe it's a coincidence after what I discovered that shortly after a release date for Captivated BY You (CBY) was released. It's a 25 page long blog now since started but it's worth reading, I promise you.

Natascha Housen Now I'm intrigued, I will have to look and read it.

message 29: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Trust me it's worth it, after you've read the entire blog, please, please let me know what you think.

Natascha Housen Have you got a link because I couldn't find it

Natascha Housen It may be because I'm using the app on my iPad rather than my laptop

message 32: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa If you have google on your iPad enter Captivated By You Release date, scroll down to Seriously Now? Hit that link and that's us!

Natascha Housen Okay will do, I, going to sleep now but will defo check it out tomorrow

Natascha Housen Found it.....Will read it tomorrow. It says it has 50 pages. Lol

message 35: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa I see 25 pages from my kindle. Enjoy our blog it's worth the read.

message 36: by Loxi (new)

Loxi I would have a hard time choosing who I like best...Colton, Christian or Gideon.....can't forget Connor Black or Damien Stark. Loved the Driven series. I could not put the books down. I have already ordered Slow Burn.

MsB...it has been awhile since I read this series and I find myself going trying to remember all the scenes and what was happening. Sometimes I think it would be helpful to have companion books first so you could go to that spot in the companion book after you have read the main book.

I like reading books from both POV. I agree with Lisa, Raced makes Colton vulnerable and sexy. You feel like you are in the car with him when he returns to the track after the accident. You have to appreciate the fact he just won't give up even though he is scared to get back in the car...makes him very human and loveable.

I will have to check out the Thoughtless & Mine series too. Loved the Fixed trilogy. As soon as I finish Raced...which I don't want to come to an end. Love Rylee and Colton....I want to finish the On Dublin Series.... Also reading the Hacker Series....very good. I would read another book by K. Bromberg if she had one that I had not read yet!!!!! Love her books.

Cindy If you read the Thoughtless series, Kellan will be your new book boyfriend. SOOOO GOOOOD

Celeste Gosh I cannot wait to read raced just ordered it now OMG, I so love that smart mouth of his sweet Jesus indeed

message 39: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Hey Loxi, Glad you came over and thank you. I'm with you I just can't get enough of Colton. Did you enjoy Dublin?

message 40: by Loxi (new)

Loxi Lisa I have only read the first few books in the Dublin series. Its a good series. I think I have 2 or three more to read. Some of the books in the series seem short and a maybe little rushed.

message 41: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa How many books are in the series?

message 42: by Loxi (new)

Loxi 5 book and a free read on her site..Dublin Street Christmas..The 5th book comes out Oct 7th. Some of them are short and a quick read.

Cindy Just finished Raced...so good. If you have't read the Driven series, do so....awesome. Can't wait for Haddie and Beck's story....

message 44: by Lisa (new) - added it

Lisa Loxi, Dublin...is it as good as Driven, Crossfire and FSOG IYO?

message 45: by Loxi (new)

Loxi I like Dublin.....is it as good, prob. not, but I am enjoying the series. I am only half way finished. I am going to start Sandi Lynn's romantic comedy Then you happened ...its available tonight.
