1. A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers - read all 3 wayfarer books in July and they were all great it was extremely hard picking which to put here.
2. Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman - again read the whole trilogy this month and the 1st and 3rd are particularly good.
3. Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor - really good duology with a great mix of folklore.

1. Everything Under
2. Flames

Everything Under by Daisy Johnson Flames by Robbie Arnott

Kathrine | 1249 comments I had a crazy July month were I read 14 books, which is a new personal record – a summer holiday well spent! :D

My three favorites were:
1. Wilding: The Return of Nature to a British Farm: Such a great and hopeful book about nature's resilience. Perhaps my favorite book of the year <3
2. The Winter of the Witch: An amazing conclusion to a stunning trilogy. I'm gonna miss these characters a lot and it's definitely not the last time I've read the books.
3. Ship of Destiny: While I didn't rate the book 5 stars, this series as a whole deserves all the stars <3 Some of the best characters I've read in fantasy!

I've been rambling about the book to anyone who wants to listen – it's just one of those books that hit really close to my heart, you know? I wanna buy an exhausted industri farm and turn it into a wildlife paradise!

Navi (nvsahota) | 0 comments Yes totally! I just love that no matter what you do to nature if you step back it always comes back with vengeance lol

It's the only thing that keeps me optimistic about this planet's future – even if we humans manage to wipe ourselves off its face, nature will bounce back and erase all our dirty tracks. I just gotta... not think about the crippling existential crisis that track of thoughts gives me 😂
