Private Down Under
question
Review

Just read Private LA and Private Down Under by
Patterson +Co-writers.Not impressed with either.Only good thing was both are fast reads. No depth to characters, shallow plots. With each different co-writer,there is no continuity to writing style.Does Patterson have any input for these books ?

Why are all of Patterson's books such quick reads as compared to, say, Cussler or Kellerman? Wondering if Private Oz is the same book as Down Under?
I must enjoy them to some extent as I always put the new ones on hold at the library.

I think of James Patterson's books like a tasty box of candy. Tasty but then the satisfaction disappears soon after.

you have to wonder.
Down Under was certainly terrible regards Aussie content.

I enjoyed the Private Down Under novel, although don't feel enough was done to develop the characters, or descriptions of the areas in the book like Harlan Coben, CHris Kuzneski, Robert Crais or Mike Wells. I actually feel that Neil White is the best author that utilises descriptions of characters & the areas used
