brandon is dead!
the past five chapters were an emotional roller coaster, i didn't expect to be this moved by what happened, i didn't even know i liked brandon that much.
i was sitting in a family gathering reading the part where josh told kris that brandon had a stroke and i had to go to the bathroom to stop the tears from coming.

Cool! I've got two thrillers to get through first, hopefully this weekend, and then I'll be into this!

No worries Maddie! I stayed up until like 4 a.m. tearing through this book and didn't want to get out of bed to get on my laptop and post updates, so I ended up taking notes on my phone so I could update the thread when I woke up XD

Rom-coms do better with near character deaths than actual character deaths...but I just read stuff about the second book, and it turns out that Brandon dying was a given since the second book was actually written first?
