Addicted to YA discussion

It's sad to say that YA Science Fiction isn't an easy find as say Fantasy right now, but I'm really trying to find a Sci-Fi book published in the 2010's, preferably not a space opera or involving a lot of space travel or a dystopia. I liked The Body Electric and would like to read more books similar to it. Thank you!

Adam David Collings writes some good stuff, although his do involve a lot of space travel. I enjoyed Jewel of the Stars.
