Soooo... Spin the Dawn has really disappointed me. It was dull. The writing and grammar was good, but it was full of typical cliches and long periods of just traveling through a desert and talking. I’m so bored of it, I couldnt even finish it! So because of that, I’m not going to suggest the second book in the series for this book club.

So we’re going to try something else. I want something that can keep my interest. Suggestions? It can be any genre, it just has to have a minimum of a middle school grade level. We can even do Dork Diaries! Anything to lighten the mood after Spin the Dawn.

Also if anyone hasn’t even read the book for this month yet, don’t bother if it’s not your cup of tea. I won’t force anyone here to read it unless they just really want to. It’s not that great. I much prefer the August graphic novel of the month. It’s wonderful and is super cute.

What about Annie’s Life in Lists? It’s super cute and I really enjoyed it. It might be fun to discuss together :)

Jordan (jojobooklover) | 2 comments One of my favorite authors is Anne Elisabeth Stengl. Her writing is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Also her books are clean. Heartless is the first book in her series.
