I currently finished reading the second book in the Dust Land series. Loved it! And am a huge fan of the Barely Breathing books.

hi my name is Amanda i am 19 and live in Australia. i discovered YA fiction when i was 14 and found them hidden away from all the other books in the library ever since they have been my secret treasure and guilty pleasure. although i have tried to transition into adult books they just don't grab my attention in the same way. my favourites are romances, fantasy and distopians but am usually willing to give most things a go. i also love writing even if they are just for me at the moment.

I have always loved books, though only 2yrs ago did my book addiction really grow as I found out about ya novels which were wonderful for a teen,i.e. me to read on the computer with music blaring in the background.

I love paranormal, supernatural, scifi, dystopia genres. Im trying to find some good ya horror though no luck yet. I love series such as skulduggery pleasant,the mortal instruments, the infernal devices, morganville vampires, the iron fae, hex hall and novels like the night circus, 0.4 and valkyrie rising, breathe..... i can go on and on.

Color guard takes up a lot of my time and I don't have as much time for reading as I would like, but I still find time whenever I can. My name is Deb and I don't read a whole lot but I just bought a book series (I started it and only read the first book in high school). I'm on the third book now so I guess I'm doing pretty good at staying interested (that's usually my problem, I have a hard time finding a book that keeps my attention all the way through). The series I bought was the Uglies (Scott Westerfeld). I'm looking at reading the Anne of Green Gables books (I've watched the movies though and I'm hoping that the movies didn't butcher the books). I started a discussion in the the Anne of Green gables category, I'm hoping someone has read the books and seen the movies to give me so insight.

hey, im faye, 13, from the middle of no where-the town isnt even worth mentioning its probably not even a map-in maine.i lov reading (duh) and writing my own ya romance novels (15 ideas and counting!) i love paranormal romance stuff, but basically ill read any genre as long as it has a good plot, interesting characters and a great style of writing. i perfer first person, but there are many books out there ive read that have been third person! im still struggling to fit in my obbsessive reading and writing into my life, which is so busy with sports, homework, and friends. who knew it could be so hard!
i cant wait to get good new reads from this books club!
