What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book many years ago and I am not sure what date it was written or what genre it even fell under. The book was about a woman who is pregnant I think and she finds a crack in the wall. The crack takes her to a different dimension where she has made different choices in her life and she gets to see what her life looks like. I think each time she goes through the crack the crack gets smaller and smaller and so she will have to choose what dimension she stays in, or the crack will close and she will be stuck forever. I am so sorry I cannot recall the year or genre. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
