Well, if you are reading this – Congratulations! You made it to the end! It has been quite a journey together reading this book throughout the Summer. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to not only read the book but to add to the weekly conversation. I have enjoyed it and it honestly made the Summer fly by quickly.

What a great way to close out the book than with a discussion on what true Christianity looks like. Chapter 10’s handling of niceness being the measuring stick for a real conversion was so insightful. We many times tag a person as a "good Christian” by simply observing the outward appearance rather than delving in and discovering whether or not the deeper things of Christ really exist in that person. We, on the other hand, can also misjudge another person who is truly a born again believer but having a “bad” moment and assume that they are lost.
I am curious to your thoughts on what he had to say on page 209?
The last chapter of the book was a great summary and really tied a nice bow on the project. Loved how he would have drawn in even the most anti-Christian reader with his opening discussion of evolution and then shifted the discussion to redemption and salvation! What a cleaver move on his part to understand his audience and to know how to bring multiple folks to the same table before he served a meal of evangelism!

Those are my thoughts this week – I look forward to reading yours…

Steve
