This is Cally Eve Darrel's Bakery. It is on the second floor of a rickety skyscraper made from wood and grey stone. The Bakery is roughly 5 feet by 7 feet. There is a counter on which all the pastries are displayed. There are some small pieces of equipment for baking, and a small cubby for money.

Is this acceptable?

Roleplay!

Cally rubbed her counter. It was almost closing time. She breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully.

((Yay!))

Gavin walked into Cally's bakery, looking for a bite to eat. Also, he had been told he needed to give her a message, so it was serving a second purpose.

message 4: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally looked up. "Hello. You're just in time, we're going to be closing soon."

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yep, and it looks like I'm not in time for you to be happy to see a customer," he said with a smile. He leaned against the counter and winked. "So, what does the baker recommend?"

message 6: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally smiled. "That depends. I recommend anything with chocolate, but weather or not you want chocolate cake, or a chocolate pastry, or maybe something completely different. Maybe you want fruit? I have some scones cooking."

message 7: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 23, 2014 06:03PM) (new)

"Sure," he agreed. "Whatever you want." He tried to draw her attention to his jacket by fiddling with the lapels.

message 8: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((How attention drawing.))

Cally didn't notice. "You'd have to wait a while on the scones, though."

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

((facepalm meant to write something else. I'll fix it))

message 10: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((I got really confused.))

"I've got time," he said with a shrug. He took too buttoning and unbuttoning his coat. When that failed. He took it off, and set it on the counter, the collar showing. He put his hand on it so that it was pointing to the symbol meaning that the next meeting was on the next day.

message 12: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally finally noticed. She nodded slightly. "It shouldn't be much longer."

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

"Good," he replied, tugging his coat back on. He made sure to hide the symbol.

message 14: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "In fact, I think I just heard it bing," Cally said. "Be right back."

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin nodded stiffly.

message 16: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally walked into the back of the shop. The scones were done she pulled them out and put on some glaze.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin grinned and thanked her, continuing to lean against the counter.

message 18: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Here you go," Cally said, handing him a scone. "They're hot."

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

"Thanks," Gavin said a good. He took a bit. "It's good."

message 20: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Thanks," Cally said. She told him the cost.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

He handed over the money.

message 22: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally glanced at her watch. She pocketed the money.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

"So. . . ."Gavin said.

message 24: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "You have enough time to sit and enjoy your scone before we close," Cally said, picking up her rag and wiping the counter again.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

"Sure you have space?" he asked casually.

message 26: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally looked slowly around the empty bakery. "Yeah, I think I can handle it."

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

"It's five feet by seven feet. Not so sure," he replied skeptically.

message 28: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Its fine," Cally said.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

"Kay," he said. "How long until closing?"

message 30: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "'Bout ten minutes," Cally answered.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin nodded. "Do you want to go somewhere after? As friends, I mean."

message 32: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally nodded. "Sure. I don't have much of a life outside work anyways."

message 33: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 24, 2014 01:33PM) (new)

"Life is my work," Gavin replied. "Where do you wish to go?"

message 34: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally shrugged. "Wherever."

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

((Okay, what type of place? I need to be able to make it. . . . .))

message 36: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((I don't know...))

message 37: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((How about a coffee shop or something?))

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

((Okay. Still in the MCS?))

message 39: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((Yeah, that sounds fine.))

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

((Okay))

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

((Created))

message 42: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((Okay, thanks. Will you post first?))

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sure))

message 44: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally led Kora to her bakery. She fumbled with the keys for a minute before opening the door.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Kora stepped inside, glancing around the small space.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

((Perhaps we could have some sort of plot twist? Like someone saw Cally's Resistance thread, and so are now waiting in the bakery?))

message 47: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((Okay.))

message 48: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally set the keys on a table. She turned the light on.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Kora grabbed a bottle of spray paint when she saw the figure standing there. "You run. I'll be right behind you!" She sprayed the figure with her bottle of spray paint and took off running down the hall after Cally.

message 50: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally glanced behind her at Kora.
