Frostpaw

Appearance: Frostpaw is a large, muscular tom, about the size of a new Warrior, even at nine moons. His fur is oddly colored for ShadowClan, but looks like his father's. It is mostly white, but his paws are more gray/silver than white, as is the very tip of his long tail. His eyes are a deep amber that bore into you and can be a little scary, because if you look into them you will see the knowledge they hold. He has short, heavy white whiskers and a pink nose. His paws are especially large. Being a young cat, he has no scars, only a small tear in his left ear.
Personality: Frostpaw is cold, tough, and...well...even though it wasn't his namesake, frosty. He has a wavering loyalty and a wandering heart. Rumors fly around the clan why, but only his mother knows the real reason. Meadowpelt is the only cat Frostpaw is close to- he's secretive and doesn't let others in, generally unpopular among his clanmates. In addition, he's extremely stubborn and a bit ornery, making it hard for others to command him. He's cunning and smart deep down. It's questionable whether or not he is totally loyal to his birth clan- and he has wondered about life as a rogue. However, he wants something with ShadowClan, and his mother is there. These are the two main reasons he has not left.

Background: As a kit, Frostpaw had two siblings: Blossomkit and Stonekit. He grew up a happy life, laughing and playing tricks, the most curious of his siblings. Apprenticeship came oh-so-quickly. Frostpaw and Stonepaw always said they would be leader and deputy: it was true, goodhearted ambition, not a kit's fantasy. One day, however, when the apprentices were seven moons, the two were out on a border patrol with their mentors. They got into a skirmish with ThunderClan about stolen prey, and Stonepaw was injured with a belly wound. There was a very good chance he would have recovered if not for his own foolishness. One night when he was almost fully recovered, he went for a walk in the marshes. The next morning two warriors found his belly wound ripped open, the stench of fox surrounding him. Frostpaw's life was shattered, for besides being the best warriors they could be, him and his brother were the main thing in each other's lives. He needed something to blame his sadness and anger on, so he choose the best he could do: His brother's death was the fault of ThunderClan. From there on he built a shell around his heart, only not shutting out his mother, Meadowpelt.
