Ah, I must have missed somehow that the tasks for round one are nearly all set up. This is good. I do hope we'll be able to complete numerous rounds of this challenge. It's looking now as though we will. 🙂I'll be finishing "The Secret Garden" today. 🙂
Thanks for understanding, Monique. :) Great job on the reading!I'm starting A Woman's Place today. I'm eager for my two review books to show up in the mail. I'm hoping to cruise through them once they arrive.
I would so love to get books in the mail to review, some day. I've been getting a lot of e-books to review from NetGalley, which I love, however I really love having physical books to see, hold in my hands, flip through the pages, and (as odd as it may sound) smell. 🙂If Maria finishes "Saving Sarah" before I get to the Small Straight #2 task, I will post her book for this task and save my "Beyond the Moon" read for the next round. 🙂

We have another Christian Fiction to read, right? If so I read The Colonel's Lady by Laura Frantz today. It has 408 pages.
Freedom By Faith Potts is 300 to 325 pages, Faith isn't sure how many it will be once finished.

Almost. I've read all except Freedom which I am reading now.I read (both are 349 pages) BTS on the 20th, ITD on the 21st, and I read TCL from the 22nd to today (the 24th),

As soon as I saw Abigail's message accepting my offer to post her reads on the review thread, I went to work in doing this without realizing Andrea and I were on the same wave length. It amazes me how much we think alike. :)I'm happy to help, anyone who needs it. :)
The only thing we are missing, Abigail, is your rating for "The Colonel's Lady".
I hope you all are having a nice weekend and enjoying your reads. I'm absolutely loving "The Secret Garden" and know I'll be rating it 5 stars. I'm nearly finished with it but I'm getting so sleepy, so I may need to read the last few chapters in the morning. Today was busier than I planned.
One last note... Hannah did inspire me to create a book review blog today. I will be adding some reviews to it tomorrow, and I hope to be able to sign up for Revell Reads soon. :)
I definitely enjoyed Ours for a Season by Kim Vogel Sawyer. Tough topics but a heartfelt story. Loved it.Not sure yet about A Woman's Place by Lynn Austin. Haven't had time to get very far yet.

Thank you all so much for your interest in my new blog! It is very much a work in progress, and I've only posted one review so far, as a bit of a test... but here it is: tglbookreviews.blogspot.com. TGL stands for "The Ginger Librarian" (my bookish nickname/username on Instagram, YouTube, Goodreads, and now my blog). My plan from now forward is to create at least one new book review blog post every Friday. This is a dream come true. 🙂

My tutoring job starts up this afternoon, so I've got some household chores to do today (put them off on the weekend to soak up some more reading). I unexpectedly received "The Killing Tide" by Dani Pettrey (351 pages) from my local library, which I'm super excited about! Thank you so much, Andrea and Hannah! I chose the bird background because it fits me so well. I am an avid birdwatcher, and one of my favorite mystery movies of all time is Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds", which is what the image behind my blog made me think of. 🙂
