Are you sure we need two tracker posts, then? I'm just confused, I suppose, since I have already created one.
I thought of creating a second tracker post that is simpler mainly in hopes that it might be easier for Maria to understand with her screen reader.Thank you again for everything you are doing here, Andrea! :)

I don’t know if that will be helpful to Maria or not. :)
Great idea, Hannah. I have been moving the tracker to each fresh page, and I don't go back to each page to update all of them. Would you like me to go back and update all of them? It will take me a bit of time this first time, but I don't mind if that's needed.
We really are making such great progress! 🙂I noticed that I have claim to a lot of the unfinished tasks, and I don't want to hold up our finishing Round 1, especially when some of my planned reads can be applied to tasks in Round 2. So... if anyone finishes a book that fits either of the Small Straight #2 or #3 tasks before I finish them, feel free to claim it. These are two of the last books I plan to read in my current TBR for this challenge and they can easily be moved to Round 2. 🙂

All right. Looks like page count for Freedom has now been announced as 230 pages on Amazon, unless Abigail tells us differently.
Oh, yikes! That's a lot less than the author had anticipated.
Hmm, I may have been wrong, lol. But I finished Freedom.
I went over to update the page number and then noticed that the page numbers had been added from Amazon. Is there going to be a paperback version? Often those numbers are different.
I finished A Woman’s Place and will be doing up my review when I get on my computer tonight. I’ve got two other books I’m starting today. One will be for my chance book. The other can either be used for one of the unfinished categories in this round (only if anyone needs help on their claimed items) or in round two. Let me know.

I'm still working on "The Killing Tide" and I've started reading "The Witch of Blackbird Pond". I'm going back and forth between these two books. 🙂

I've posted a review post for Maria's first two books, with a slight change in plans. She read "With Hope and Love" for the Large Straight #4 task, and "Saving Sarah" for for Chance/Freebie task. Once she's finished reading "El Tiburon", it can be used for another task. :)I've also marked some of my claimed tasks as "FLEXIBLE" in message #204 — these are tasks that anyone can claim if they can finish them before I do. The books I have planned for these tasks can easily be moved to Round 2. :)

I haven't gotten a lot of reading done yesterday or today because I've been working on my blog... Sadly, I had to take a step back with my blog today and temporarily remove my posts to look into copyright laws in regards to using book cover images and book synopses from the backs of books on a blog. I can't risk getting sued for unlawfully using copyrighted images or text in my blog. I'm learning the ins and outs of this.I hope you all are having a blessed week! :)
As long as you source the book covers from someplace like Amazon or the publisher’s website (as opposed to Googling images for the book and using one in a setting that might have been posted on Instagram) those are marketing photos that can be used as you need. You can also take your own photos and use those. :)Basically, if the publisher shares it for marketing purposes, that’s good...just not quoting from people’s posts or pictures unless they give you the okay.

Monique, when I did interviews and author guest articles on my blog, several authors told me to just snag the covers and book blurbs from Amazon or Goodreads. Others sent me the info by email.

Yesterday was super busy for me. The one moment I had to update the tracker was in the middle of a rainstorm, so I didn’t feel comfortable plugging in my laptop then. Top priority today! Then I’ll be trying to finish the book I’m reading. About 47% to go. :)
I moved one of my books from the second card to my chance spot on the first card, because I'm trying to finish it today. Yippee!
