What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi everyone I really need help finding the title of a book that I read probably about 13 years ago. This is a historical romance novel I believe it was written in the 80s but I could be wrong. So the book is about a hero and heroine The heroines Father is a Lord or a king I'm not sure, but he either sends her away for protection or the hero takes her away. So the hero and heroine are living under the same roof maybe in a castle and the hero is very tempted by the heroine. The heroine Does not want anything to do with him. He basically follows her around like a bodyguard. There are scenes in the book where they do fool around multiple times but sex doesn’t happen until the very end of the book when they get married. He also comes in to her room to try and tempt her but she still doesn't want anything to do with him There are two other things I remember about the book which is the heroine’s father castle catches fire and the hero helps out with that. Then There's another part where someone that works in the castle follows the heroine And forces a kiss on her and bruises her lips when the hero finds out about this he gets very angry


I know this is not a lot of information but this is about all I can remember about the bookHopefully it's enough to where someone can help me. Thank you everyone.
