Macey (meesamacey) Hello. I am always on the lookout for more books/series to read. I have already read a ton of fantasy - HP, Percy Jackson, Divergent, Hunger Games, etc. Really, I just want stuff that is clean and appropriate for teens to read.

P. S. I don't want to read Twilight nor Ranger's Apprentice. Not interested in either.

Thank you for your help!

message 5: by Macey (new)

Macey (meesamacey) Sure. Not much language (a wee bit is ok), no explicit scenes.

Julie | 8 comments The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa is clean and a really good read. I recommend it often to kids who are bridging between Juvenile fiction and Young Adult. Also, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott if you like a little Mythology and real historic characters in the mix.

I'll have to try the first one. I have already read Nicholas Flamel, though.

Nope.

Carolyn (chooliki) | 13 comments I usually like the Enchanted Inc series which are easy to read clean and full of magic. I know I mentioned them in another post, but they aren't like 500 pages and it is a good in-between books.

I'll check those out. Thanks!

Betsy | 190 comments Have you read Mercedes Lackey? Especially her Valdemar books, starting with Arrows of the Queen. That book is the first of a trilogy. In the second book there's some sex but it's not explicit. In the third book the heroine is captured and raped by the bad guys. The sex is not explicit but the violence is pretty gruesome. However, I think of these books as pretty "clean" on the whole.

Betsy | 190 comments What about the Pern series? Starting with Dragonflight. Those are pretty clean.
