Halah, I've moved your thread down to Requests for books in general since that seems to be where it needs to be.
Do you have a favoured genre? Sci fi, fantasy, pnr, romance, cozy mysteries?

Oh thanks, sorry I thought thats where i had put it...
Um, preferably not romance? But that fine too. So long as theres not much depressing or heartbreaking things. Strictly happy :]
Thorne Smith does some good ones. The Night Life of the Gods was one that I really liked, as well as The Glorious Pool and of course, everyone loves Topper.
Since you did include feel good romances, Sandra Hill has any number of feel good romances. Some will actually have you roflol.
Tate Hallaway does PNR's and UF's that are funny and feel good.
Terry Pratchett is one of the funniest men on the planet--ANY planet. His Discworld novels will have you giggling for days.
Leonard Wibberley is another fun author. Several of his Grand Duchy of Fenwick books were made into movies. VERY funny man.

Michele Bardsley also does feel good romances.
Molly Harper does fun books
Shelly Laurenston does pnr that are amusing. Although I will warn you--she's a PG-17 writer. So if that's a no-no, you won't enjoy her books. (Of course, you could just skip the sex parts. They are still good books.)
