Yes, we can. I can also read with you Transcendence.

Just let me know when you want to start them. Even if the character doesn't come up we can still get them out of the way and ready for when we do get the character.

Ok will do, probably will start the first one during the first or second week. Transcendence I have no plans so whenever works :)

Ah Damn, I just checked out the spreadsheet. I forgot some of these categories from the last time we did Disney. We got Merida 4 times and I was scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for books set in Scotland, with triplets and with bows and arrows on the cover. Please pray now that we avoid Merida.

For the love of all that is good in the world, PLEASE pray!

I'm sure we can find an RH with triplets at least ;) As for the other ones we can only hope to get Merida once and not twice.

At least when we have the extra options the first go round, it's not as impossible, or at least doesn't seem that way. But unlike you this is my first time doing this particular challenge so I still have optimism LOL

😂😂😂 I remember that 💀💀 Just know that you will go through each character once before getting them again. Just like in the villain challenge. Each team also has 4 passes too 😊😊

Next year I’ll come up with some new categories for her 🤔🤔 plus some more characters. I’ll take suggestions too

So now that we have our three starting characters do we have a game plan? This is my first time with this challenge so just wondering if we are focusing on reading books for those categories or are we reading all over the board and just banking reviews?

This is correct. So for the three characters that you have right now, you as a team need to read 4 categories per character. Once you get 4 down for a character, then you will get a new character.

So far, the only book I'm definitely reading the first week of September that will fit our characters is Raven King, so I've entered it into the spreadsheet.

Once I finish it, I'll try to fill in some other character categories. I don't plan on entering anything into the spreadsheet unless I plan to finish the book within a few days. That way those categories stay open to the rest of you. If I read something that won't fit in a current character, I might put it where it will fit so it's reserved for later. Sound ok?

I think it was the spreadsheet that was throwing me all off, so I went in and took out about half of my books I’m not reading just within the first week off. I guess there’s no point for me taking up spots for books I won’t get to right away, if it’s a character we need now. Plus I feel like many of these categories we won’t even know until we read the book.

So true! I’d say half of the categories you don’t know unless you read the book.

I'm going to do the same. I'll take all my books off and just add as I go.

Reading and for a couple of the categories that have been picked so far.

Started on Pestilence today. That is up for one of our categories.

Working my way through at the moment but hopefully I should have that done by Friday since it's such a big chunker. Can't wait for my four day weekend coming up! #bookbinge

I just finished a book that will fill a spot for Pocohontas, so we should get a new character after I post.
