kimberly grider | 6 comments I am looking for a older BR ...pretty sure the cover had the lady ( black hair I think ) sitting forward with one or two Irish wolfhounds sitting or laying at her feet ....it was full of angst and in one scene towards the end someone tries to kill her by putting holes in a boat and she goes out on the water and almost dies and if I remember right the person who did it was on the shore laughing and cackling at her ....any ideas? I figured I would run across this at some point but never have smh

Gissele | 9 comments I'm not sure if this one is a bodice ripper, but I remember the dog on the cover: Nightfire- Valerie Vayle.

Sadly no ...that is not the book, she is sitting facing forwards or just slightly to the side and that is the wrong breed of dog ...After I read that one I always wanted a irish wolfhound and years later my mother came home from the vet clinic where she worked with two Irish cross puppies that were dropped off as strays !!! That dog looks like a keshound or husky mix ;)

Gissele | 9 comments You've got me curious Kimberly! I 've also started looking throught old covers and so far I found nothing. I think Blondie is right about the changing covers. Is this history set in Ireland? If you find this book please let us know!
